A crawl is when Citingly visits every page on your domain and analyzes it. Depending on which audit type you choose, it collects structured data (Schema), technical SEO signals, and optionally runs AI-powered GEO/AEO scoring on each page. Crawl frequency depends on your plan.

What is a tracking run?

A tracking run sends each of your defined brand queries to ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini simultaneously and captures the full responses. Citingly then analyzes each response for brand mentions, competitor mentions, sentiment, and citation rate. You control when runs happen.

Which AI engines do you query?

Starter, Pro, and Scale plans query all four: ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Gemini. The Free plan queries ChatGPT and Perplexity. We plan to add more engines as they grow in adoption.

Accepted Answer

A query is a question or phrase you define that represents something your potential customers might ask an AI. For example: 'What is the best project management tool for small teams?' You can have up to the plan limit active at once.

Can I cancel at any time?

Yes. You can cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Your plan remains active until the end of your current billing period. There are no cancellation fees or long-term commitments.

What is GEO/AEO scoring and why does it take longer?

GEO (Generative Engine Optimization) / AEO (Answer Engine Optimization) scoring uses Gemini AI to analyze the content of each page across five dimensions of citation readiness. Because it involves an AI call per page, it takes longer than a standard crawl. You choose when to run it.

Do you offer refunds?

Can I upgrade or downgrade my plan?

Yes. You can switch plans at any time from Settings → Plan. Upgrades take effect immediately. Downgrades apply at your next billing cycle.

Citingly crawls up to 100 pages per domain per crawl on all plans. Most small and medium-sized websites fall well within this limit. If you need more, contact us.
